Q. Now that EMJ Embedded Systems has changed its name to WDL Systems, will my ordering process be the same?
A. Even though EMJ Embedded Systems is now WDL Systems (www.wdlsystems.com), all your Account information will stay the same. You may place an order today, in the exact same way that you placed an order before. Except for our name, we have not changed anything else about our company, or the products that we sell. Please read the Press Release for more information on our name change.
Q. I thought I was already registered with a User ID and Password for emjembedded.com (or emj.com). Why isn't my ID and Password working now?
A. If you were registered with emjembedded.com or emj.com prior to 7/1/04, you will need to Re-Register for an Account. We apologize for any inconvenience, but feel confident that your shopping experience on our newly improved site will be well worth it. With your new Account, you will now be able to create a Wish List, edit your Personal Info, change your User ID and Password, and create a Password Hint to help you remember your password.
Q. Can I pay for my order using a Credit Card, or do I have to apply for credit through EMJ America?
A. WDL Systems' Online Catalog has security systems in place to allow credit card orders. Please be assured that for added security, we do not store your credit card number on our servers. You will need to enter your credit card number each time you order from us.
You may also apply for credit with WDL Systems, by submitting a credit application. You may fill this form out and print it from our web site, and then fax it to 919-545-2559. Your credit must be approved before your order can be shipped. An order placed using credit as the payment method must be assigned a Purchase Order number.
Q. How will I know that my order is on its way?
A. An WDL sales representative will contact you, to confirm your order and let you know when it will be shipped. If you have not been contacted within one business day, please call us at 1-800-548-2319.
Q. Why do I get errors when I proceed to checkout?
A. You must enter all information in the non-optional fields. Those are the ones which have an " * " next to it.
Q. I have filled out everything and I still get errors!
A. Make sure you are using the correct password. Password fields can not contain spaces.
Q. I selected an item and when I checked my cart it wasn't there!
A. While shopping, make sure that you use the "Buy" or "Add to Cart" buttons to put items into your cart. You can change quantities in your cart by entering a numeral in the quantity field, and then clicking the "Update Cart" button. You may delete one item at a time from your cart by clicking on the "Delete" button. You may move items from your cart to your Wishlist, by clicking on the "Add to Wishlist" button. You may also move items from your Wishlist to your cart. Click on the "Move to Cart" button, or the "Move All Items To Cart" button. The default for our quantity input field is always "1". Unless you specify a different numeric character and hit the "Update Cart" button, the quantity selected for each item will be "1".
Q. How long will an item stay in my shopping cart? How long will an item stay in my wish list?
A. Shopping cart items will stay in your shopping cart for 90 days, unless you place an order, move them to your wish list, or delete them. Wish list items will stay in your wish list for one year, unless you move them to your shopping cart, or delete them.
