MZ104 from Tri-M Systems Now Available from WDL Systems
Board’s Versatility and Low Power Consumption Make Development Easy
Apex, NC - 7 May 2001 - Embedded development just got easier with the introduction of the new low power MZ104 from Tri-M systems and EMJ Embedded.
MZ104 is a 586 133MHz PC/104 single board computer with extremely low power consumption. Its design provides for ease of integration and reliability, and it is ideally suited to applications where low power is required for long battery life or in harsh environments where airflow for heat dissipation is restricted and heatsinks and fans are unacceptable.
MZ104 features ZFx86™ embedded PC-on-a-chip from ZF Micro devices. Processor speeds can be set to 33MHz, 100MHz, or 133MHz. As an X86 compatible system, ZFx86 supports all PC compatible operating systems including Linux,, DOS, Windows 9x and NT, and RTOSes such as VXWorks.
MZ104 comes with onboard Flash memory, SODIMM sockets for up to 64MB of SDRAM memory, a socket for the M-Systems DiskOnChip, dual IDE, floppy, two RS232 serial ports, one parallel port, one USB port, one Infrared port and one I2C bus.
