WDL SYSTEMS NOW SHIPPING COREMODULE 430 from AMPRO by ADLINK
Pittsboro, NC – 11 June 2009 – WDL Systems announces availability of the CoreModule 430 PC/104 Single Board Computer from Ampro by ADLINK Technology. The PC/104 compliant CoreModule 430 SBC features the DM&P SoC (System on Chip) Vortex86SX Microprocessor at 300MHz or 800MHz. With the CoreModule 430, ADLINK continues to support users of the PC/104 standard that Ampro invented in 1992. The CoreModule 430 will drop directly into applications that use EOL CPUs, allowing system OEMs to continue to leverage their investments in enclosures, cables, software and certifications. For new designs, CoreModule 430 is also capable of proven PC/104 I/O support.
“The CoreModule 430 is a robust and flexible PC/104 CPU solution for low power systems,” says WDL Systems technologist, Donnie Springfield. “The 300MHz Vortex86SX-based CoreModule 430 provides a solid computing platform, and the 800MHz Vortex86DX version is a pin-compatible drop-in alternative for more demanding applications.”
