WDL SYSTEMS PROUDLY DISTRIBUTES MICROSPACE® MSM945 BOARDS FROM KONTRON
Pittsboro, NC – 25 May 2010 – WDL Systems proudly distributes MICROSPACE® MSM945 Boards from Kontron for building high performance embedded PC applications. MICROSPACE® MSM945 features standard PC interfaces plus Ethernet LAN, optional DVI and LVDS interfaces (dual screen) and an audio controller. Equipped with the CPU Intel® CoreTM2 Duo L7400 in the DIGITAL-LOGIC smartModule SMX945 with COMexpress offers best performance in the PC/104 form factor. The optional PCI/104-Express bus (PCI & PCI Express) and 6 USB interfaces are available as functional extensions. By means of a PC/104-Plus ISA bridge card, an 8 bit ISA bus can be emulated from the 32 bit PCI bus.
Applications for the MSM945 include:

The MICROSPACE PCI/104-Express MSM945 MSM945/L/P is a miniaturized modular device incorporating the major elements of a PC/AT compatible computer including standard PC/AT compatible elements, such as: Powerful Core Duo, Core Solo or Core 2 Duo processors; BIOS ROM; SODIMM 200pin; DMA, LPT1 parallel port; COM1-, COM2- RS232 serial port 16C550 comp; AT-IDE hard disk interface; 2x S-ATA 1.5GB/s HDD; DVI, VGA, LVDS Video; AC97-V2.3 Sound and 100/10-Base T-LAN.
