DiskOnChip Questions

A:
The end with the dot is the "top."

Q: How do I program my DiskOnChip
A:
Most people prefer to do software development on their target platform writing to the Disk On Chip like a hard disk. For mass deployment, the best solution is to create a "Master" Disk On Chip using your hardware platform and duplicating it using the M-Systems Gang Duplicator. For smaller
quantities, contact your EMJ sales rep about duplication services. There is a small fee per chip and a Master must be provided.

Q: My computer is not seeing the Disk-On-Chip as a hard disk, what's wrong?
A:
Use the Disk-On-Chip utilities to set up the DOC as a fixed disk. Also, do not forget to partition and format your DOC for your operating system.

Q: I can't get my M-Systems flash disk to work. What is wrong?
A:
When your machine boots, you should see a BIOS message from the flash disk during startup. If not, check your jumpers and make sure the correct memory address is shadowed.

Q: I still can't get my M-Systems flash disk to work.
A:
Often times you must create a partition and or format your media. Contact tech support if you have further problems.
