Monday was a true day in the life of a stocking distributor! We received over 600 MultiTech Conduit APs and our shipping manager, Irvin Jones, had to figure out where to put them all!

We love the Conduit AP because it is super easy to deploy and it extends LoRa connectivity into hard to reach areas of big commercial buildings.

We were delighted to find this mug on Steve Rogers' desk! We've been MultiTech's distribution partner since 2000! That is 21 years of stocking and selling product for the global leader in connected device technology! I would be remiss if I failed to tell you that Steve has been with this company for over 30 years!

Our Chief Tech Geek, Donnie Springfield, will be spending next week at AUVSI XPONENTIAL in Connect Tech’s booth # 2932. Connect Tech will be exhibiting their great products featuring NVIDIA® Jetson modules and hosting Allied Vision ~ makers of Alvium Cameras~ in their booth. We want lots of attendees to keep them busy talking about unmanned deployments and embedded vision!

The Quasar from Connect Tech is a rugged carrier board for the Jetson TX2, TX2 4GB and TX2i and offers a wide variety of connectors in a very small and affordable package. The Quasar is ideal for unmanned applications that require MIPI, CAN, SATA or HDMI 2.0 ports.

We 💚 the Quark from Connect Tech! The Quark is an ultra small & feature rich carrier board for the Jetson Nano, TX2 NX and Xavier NX. Users can seamlessly transition between modules depending on their Edge AI processing needs. It is ideal for unmanned payloads!

Connect Tech’s Rudi-NX is the ultimate Edge AI computing device for unmanned vehicles. Powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX, it can deliver up to 21 TOPS of performance in 15W. With 384 CUDA Cores, 48 Tensor Cores, and 2 NVDLA engines, it can run multiple modern neural networks in parallel and process high-resolution data from multiple sensors simultaneously!

We particularly enjoyed a couple of good reads this week. Recab UK published a nice article about remote condition monitoring for wind farms that featured INSYS icom MRX Routers. It made me think about the windfarm that we can just see from my husband's family farm in upstate NY. Those windmills look very remote and lonely up in the hills.

And ADLINK shared a nice application story about a medical imaging equipment manufacturer using their DLAP 3000 servers to provide enhanced image quality for clinical diagnosis. This reminded me of when my appendix was unnecessarily removed based on old-fashioned, low-quality medical imaging. Next time I’ll ask to see the server under the hood of that CT scanner!
